Help send 50,000 signatures to the Department of the Interior opposing the rollback of the methan...

I strongly oppose the Department of the Interior’s decision to roll back the BLM methane rule. This common-sense rule was designed to protect our communities and our climate from this dangerous greenhouse gas. Interior's own analysis found that rolling back the BLM methane rule will cost Americans more than $1 billion in wasted natural gas and pollution. This rollback will mean less funding for our schools and communities, more wasted energy, and more air pollution threatening the health of our families -- all while climate change worsens.

Why is this important?

The Department of the Interior’s restrictions on methane pollution were a common-sense effort to protect our environment and our communities. But Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke has chosen to steamroll our health and environment by gutting the rule.

Even worse, this rollback comes days after the Trump Administration took aim at the Environmental Protection Agency’s methane rules. This is an all-out assault on protections from this destructive greenhouse gas. We need your help to speak out against this destructive agenda!
