Let's fund a Federal project to rebuild the 225 ft. Spire in America with American workers, and gift it when ready to France for the new Notre Dame. American jobs and a symbol of our love and support for France.
Why is this important?
France gifted the State of Liberty to the US in 1886 as a symbol of our alliance in the fight for liberty. How wonderful would a reciprocal gift be from America to show its heart and support for others around the world. The lost of Notre Dame is a loss for Christians and non-Christians alike. It is part of world history and civilization. Americans should always strive to be more than being about ourselves - especially outside our borders.
