As a Florida voter, I believe that women deserve respect, including access to health care. I support Planned Parenthood. Anti-choice members of Congress are trying to cut Planned Parenthood's funding, but the organization doesn't even use federal funding to provide abortion services. It uses the funding to provide cancer screenings, contraception, and other health care to women and men.
Why is this important?
Several states have already moved to defund planned parenthood. I cannot imagine what it would be like for women in Florida, a state with very few options for uninsured women, if Planned Parenthood were not there to help.
