If Karzai doesn't want US, then let's get out of Afghanistan completely. Congress should provide no funding for foreign troops or mercenaries, although development funds are fine. Withdraw before 2014.
Why is this important?
Afghan elected leaders do not want foreign troops in their country. US taxpayers do not want the occupation and cannot afford it. US should withdraw its troops and drones. Taliban will make some gains, but not succeed in defeating the Afghan government. US will not be responsible for Afghan affairs any longer. Currently our presence sets back the causes of democracy, peace, and reconciliation.
