Help prevent further blood shed in Ukraine! Impose targeted sanctions, including visa bans and asset freezes against Viktor Yanukovych, his government and all those individuals responsible for ordering or carrying out deadly violence against the people of Ukraine, who are fighting for their basic human and civil rights. Without the full support of the United States in the form of real and hard sanctions, the people of Ukraine will continue to die at the hands of terrorist-tyrants who are currently clinging to power and committing a massacre.
Why is this important?
I am urgently starting this petition because people are dying right now on the streets of Kyiv. Under sniper and machine gun fire, as well as under attack of gangs composed of of civilian criminals, organized, armed and supported by the police. Victims include medical workers and journalists, there's no accountability of any kind. The government of Ukraine keeps portraying demonstrators as extremists, while using absolutely criminal tactics and committing atrocities every day. The media in the US is playing neutrality, so crimes against humanity are going virtually unnoticed. Please, show your support and help stop this!
