Impeach President Donald Trump
To my Senator:
I am writing to request that you urgently and without delay push for impeachment of our President Donald Trump for leading an attack on our country's Capitol building occurring on January 6, 2021. It is evident that he planned the attack and incited his followers to carry out the attack with plans to overturn the results of the 2020 election. This was a planned coup by our president and his followers. People were injured and killed with plans to injure or murder key members of our congress.
As you are aware this is a very serious attack on our government, the governing people, and on our country's sovereignty. It was the execution of a plan by President Donald Trump to overthrow our government and to remain in power. This was a treasonous act, planned, instigated by President Trump, and carried out by his followers under his encouragement and approval. He even told his followers that he would be marching with them, to encourage their participation.
Donald Trump must be impeached and tried for treason. Senators Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, along with several other Senate members must be unseated for their participation in misleading the American voters in inciting rebellion with fictitious allegations of voter fraud. They failed to abide by their oaths to abide by and protect our constitution. Senator Mitch McConnell is derelict in his duties by allowing recess of the Senate in a time of crisis for our nation. Please request that he call back the Senate to investigate and impeach the President and try others for this attack on our country. This is not a politically partisan matter, but a National Security matter. Please do not allow Senator McConnell to whitewash this issue just because it was perpetrated by his own party members. If he does not treat this properly as an attack on our nation, he himself should be investigated and possibly unseated. We cannot accept anything less than an impeachment of President Donald Trump.

Why is this important?
Our county's capitol was attacked, and an attempt was made to overthrow our government. Donald trump planned and instigated it to stay in power as a dictator. Impeachment and trial of others is critical to save this country from a potential tyranny. He must be tried and convicted of this serious offense, or else it is likely he will try again.
