Improved Crosswalks Around Park Circle
For the safety of pedestrian children and residents, as well as motorists, We, the undersigned, request that the City of North Charleston install crosswalk improvements to enable pedestrians to safely cross Durant Avenue, East Montague Avenue, North Rhett Avenue, South Rhett Avenue, Buist Avenue and Park Circle.
Along with improved pavement markings, it is requested that raised pedestrian crossings, advanced warning signs and lights, brighter nighttime lighting, or other devices that can slow traffic down at the crossings or improve driver expectancy of the crossings be added.
We urge you to give this issue priority attention.

Why is this important?
As a resident of Park Circle, it is my goal to promote safe and pleasant conditions for non-motorized street users while maintaining the safe movement of local vehicular traffic.
