A ban should be put against charging interest on back support if you are paying on time regularly. If you are not paying then you should but if you pay like ordered it shouldn't be. People will never get out of owing if it keep drawing interest.
Why is this important?
The state shouldn't be allowed to charge interest on back child support. they charge you 4 to 6 % and we are trying to pay it off.
