International NAFO Expansion Day
We are requesting that NATO's North Atlantic Council issues an informal declaration naming February 27th each year as "International NAFO (North Atlantic Fellas Organization) Expansion Day." The day chosen is the day after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine which was the event that inspired 10's of thousands of citizens from across the world to join NAFO's fight against disinformation from Russia, China, Iran and all other repressive regimes who deny their own citizens the right to free speech and an independent media.
Why is this important?
Disinformation is one of the largest growing threats to democracy and one of the most powerful tools of enemies of freedom and self determination. Offering this symbolic gesture of recognition to NAFO will recognize their selfless commitment to defending freedom by shining a light on truth.
