It's Time for a Change!

We ask that the Hospital Policy on tattoos be updated to reflect the changes in today's society, to maintain a culture of excellence, and promote a positive work place environment.

Why is this important?

Tattoo's are a reflection of individuality, and should not be hidden. Tattoos do NOT hinder performance and our Policy should be updated to reflect todays workforce. The ARMY and the NAVY have updated their policy to reflect the changing perspectives. Tattoos that are prejudicial, or offensive should be dealt with on a case by case basis. There is a large number of current staff as well as prospective employee's with tattoo's that are willing and excited to work for our organization, but feel the tattoo "bias" interferes with their ability to perform their duties to the highest degree.
