To: Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Iraq and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq and UNited Nations
Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, Resign!
Last week, after visiting the peaceful demonstration in Iraq (and protected and celebrated by the demonstrators themselves), Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert the Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) and special representative to Iraq, played an active role in killing the protestors by supporting the Iraqi government, through her tweet:
"Disruption of critical infrastructure also of grave concern. Responsibility of all to protect public facilities. Threats/closure of roads to oil installations, ports causing billions in losses. Detrimental to #Iraq's economy undermines fulfilling protesters' legitimate demands"
Later, she supported her tweet unapologetically by stating that she supports the Iraqi government.
Thus, Hennis is taking part in the atrocities being committed against the civil protestors, of whom more than 600 people have been killed and thousands are severely injured so far by live bullets and tear gas bombs with sarin gas.
By siding with this illegitimate bloody government, Hennis is siding against the very ethical component of your work as a representative of the UN and its humanitarian mission.

Why is this important?
Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, the Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) and special representative to Iraq, should step down and apologize to the Iraqi protestors, who are demonstrating peacefully for weeks against their corrupt government and are still facing an atrocious crackdown from the Iran-backed Iraqi government. Hundreds are being killed every day by sarin gas or live bullets, and thousands of others are injured.
