John Bolton is Out, Wilbur Ross Should Be the Next to Go
The New York Times reports that U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross threatened to fire top federal officials after the National Weather Service contradicted President Trump’s untrue and preposterous claim that Hurricane Dorian threatened Alabama.
Ordering officials to lie or be fired is unacceptable and cannot be tolerated.
Wilbur Ross must be thrown out of office.
Why is this important?
Wilbur Ross never should have been confirmed. He has huge conflicts of interest. He falls asleep in meetings. He authorized the unconscionable effort to include a citizenship question on the census — designed to deter recent immigrants from responding. And he now ordered officials to lie or be fired.
Wilbur Ross has got to go.
