Join VoteVets and tell Congress to vote NO on Syrian military intervention

I am proud to stand with tens of thousands of veterans, military family members and VoteVets.org supporters in urging you to vote against military intervention in Syria.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff previously warned against this kind of action, because it only leads to deeper involvement in the conflict. We must not ignore the warnings of our senior military leaders, like we did in the run-up to the Iraq war. Missile strikes won’t eliminate Assad’s chemical weapons, or deter him from using them again.

Please vote NO on Syrian military intervention.

Why is this important?

In a letter to Congress several weeks ago Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey's words speak for themselves.

"We can destroy the Syrian air force," he said. "The loss of Assad's air force would negate his ability to attack opposition forces from the air, but it would also escalate and potentially further commit the United States to the conflict. Stated another way, it would not be militarily decisive, but it would commit us decisively to the conflict…"

Stand with the veterans and military family members who oppose Syrian intervention and we'll share your thoughts with leaders in Congress before they vote.
