Justice For All - Pakistan

Organized by Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaaf, Aazadi (Freedom) March, is a protest for safeguarding the rights of every Pakistani. Lead by Imran Khan (Chairman PTI), people of Pakistan have overwhelmingly supported the need for accountability and fairness. Joined by the Inqalaab March led by the world renowned scholar Maulana Tahir ul Haq, the people of Pakistan have decided to sit in the nations capital till their demands are being met.

After exhausting all legal avenues to investigate the election fraud and bring the guilty to justice, the people of Pakistan have been left with no choice but to take to the streets. Started on the 67th anniversary of Pakistan’s Independence Day, August 14, 2014 the march has been received as the defining moment in Pakistan’s history. Being true to their democratic principals, the people of Pakistan from all walks of life under the leadership of Imran Khan have assembled in the nations capital to demand their fundamental right to a free and fair election and accountability. The march has been supported and endorsed by majority of the political parties, reformists and organizations. In spite of being met by state violence, threats and intimidation the people of Pakistan are strong in their resolve and have clearly sent a message that they will not stop till their demands are met.

We urge you to stand tall with and support the peaceful protestors who are within their fundamental rights to ask for a free and fair election. Please show your support for a peaceful and democratic Pakistan. A Pakistan where all citizens are treated equally under law and a Pakistan that can be a beacon of hope and peace for all.

People in Pakistan are standing up for their fundamental rights – free and fair election. We should be inspired by their brave efforts for liberty and freedom and not support a fraudulent regime that has occupied the office by fraudulent means. So far the U.S. government has been wishy-washy in its support for the Pakistani people. It's time for our government to give meaning to the very values of freedom and equality that our country was formed on. As John F. Kennedy said, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” I pray and urge you to use your good office to stop that from happening.

We urge you to support the will of the people of Pakistan.

Please show your support for a peaceful and democratic Pakistan. A truly Democratic Pakistan will not only be an asset to our long term interests in the region but also serve as beacon of hope and peace for the entire world.
