Keep Ambridge Elementary Status Quo

Ambridge Area School Board will be making a decision to CLOSE State Street Elementary and have the remaining elementary schools as a K-2 building and a 3rd-5th grade building. What this means...your child that lives 5 minutes away from your school, will now have a longer bus ride. Have more than one child? Your children will be split up. There is a long list of cons, and a very short list of pros.

How many of our families are going to be lost to go to the local charter school, which is grades K-6? Not to mention, we are having a new charter school opening soon. How many more charter schools will move into our area and make a HUGE loss for our district?

Our classrooms right now, are over a "common sense" limit. What is closing a whole school, going to do with those numbers?

Why is this important?

By signing below, you are voicing that you want our elementary schools to stay statues quo. Our students deserve BETTER!
