Keep Julio's Family Together!
Everyday, fathers and mothers are separated from their loving families, communities, and churches. Jose Luis Diaz-Godoy is one of those unfortunate fathers. On April 18th, Mr. Diaz-Godoy was detained just outside of his house due to an immigration raid along with four others.
Jose Luis migrated to the United States in 1999 and has been in the pursuit of the “American Dream” ever since. Jose Luis works cleaning windows. His oldest son Jose Miguel works installing wood floors due to his immigration status. He graduated from high school, took part of JROTC and was the captain of the soccer team. He can no longer pursuit his dream nor continue his education and now is faced with becoming the head of the household and help his mother support himself and his younger siblings. He dreams to one day attend college and study criminology. Brian Diaz (8), attends Shanandoa Elementary. He is now confused because he was taught that the only people who go to jail are criminals, “My dad is no criminal, he is my superhero”. He has now started to visit a psychologist due to this. Brian visited his father at the Krome Detention Center and couldn't bare to leave his dad in “that concentration camp”. Katherine-Diaz is four years old, she told us “I want my daddy back, this is his home”. Everyday, she comes home from daycare and isn't able to hug her “daddy”. We need to end their pain and HELP reunite them with their father.
Please sign and ask Director of ICE John Morton, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, and Assistant Office Field Director in Florida Ramon Bado to exercise prosecutorial discretion on this loving father of three beautiful children.

Why is this important?
Jose Luis Diaz-Godoy, an honest, and hard-working, father of three kids, Katherine-Diaz (4), Brian Diaz (8), Jose Miguel Diaz (20) and his wife Maricela Espinal (34). Please help us reunite him with his only family here, in the only country he calls home.
