Keep Super PAC Money Out of the Norfolk County DA Race

On July 15, 2026, a SuperPAC  was created titled "Results for Norfolk County Independent Expenditure Political Action Committee."  The chair of the committee, Helen Gaianopoulus, lists her address in Lexington.  The Treasurer, Vann Snyder, lists his address in Morro Bay, CA.

Its purpose is "to advocate for candidates and policies that will bring a more just and equitable approach to Norfolk County."  This appears to be directed at our upcoming District Attorney race.

Why is this important?

As Democrats we should be concerned. The people of Norfolk County should be able to decide the election based on the merits of candidates.  In fact, this year is most likely the first time in any of our lives as residents of Norfolk County where we have had such a diversity of choice.  Seven capable individuals have worked extremely hard to make the ballot this fall.  Outside money and outside influence could unethically affect this important election.  These IEPACS cut against the very spirit of democratic elections and introduce dark money where it does not belong.

I am asking Norfolk County Residents to urge the candidates to discourage this behavior. In addition, we should pledge to make every effort to ensure that the voters of Norfolk County will have a fair and ethical election.
