Keep the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer Program

Please join us in asking the Marshall County Fiscal Court to reinstate the funding for the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer Program.
There is one more vote of the court on June 16th, so we are asking county commissioners to please override Judge Kevin Neal’s decision to remove the funding.

Why is this important?

Our MCSO School Resource Officer Program currently allows EIGHT uniformed, trained officers AND a K-9 named Fox to work FULL TIME in the Marshall County School System and ALSO provide extra patrol support when school is out which is also tourism season where our population nearly doubles.
These officers are certified, well trained deputies that are there to protect our children!!! Of the eight officers we have, SIX have had Special Response Team advanced training.
We would also now have the budget for an officer to be in EVERY SCHOOL had Neal not refused to sign the COPS grant this year.
