Keep the Tea Party Out of Education and Keep Knowledge In
Our schools have been taken over by a bunch of "free market" revisionist "know nothings" and it shows. Their economic policies are failures. Their knowledge of history is extremely limited and highly colored. I don't want their brand of propaganda in the schools of my state.
Our young people would have been able to spot the fallacies of these people's thinking a mile away, if they had been taught history correctly, because this is not the first time that a bunch of right-wing dipsticks tried to take over the USA. It happened in the 1890s and in the 1920s. I don't want people who espouse failed theories like "austerity" and predatory capitalism ala Ayn Rand to be dictating the curriculum of our schools. I want the truth and these people have no idea what it is....
Here are links that show how the Tea Party policies are being dissected by real academicians..not Koch brains for hire...

Why is this important?
Because Governor Goodhair and his predecessor have done enough to ruin education in this state. It is time that real intellectuals decided curricula in this state and not the pseudo-intellectuals of the far right. I want my state to be what it can be...not the horrible anti-Utopia created by greed and self-centered politics from the far Right.
