We want the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors to join San Francisco's Board of Supervisors in creating a Resolution in Support of H.R. 1384 - the Medicare For All Act of 2019.
The people of Los Angeles County support Medicare For All and we want our representatives to champion this legislation and ensure its passage in the House of Representatives!
Why is this important?
Medicare For All is a bill with the power to correct the immoral state of health insurance in the U.S. Too many cannot afford health insurance and tens of millions are not adequately covered. In the wealthiest country in the world, this is unacceptable. This bill would be the first to ensure that Universal Healthcare is a reality.
