Stop the exclusion of Felons in the protected class for discrimination within HUD and related programs i.e. low income housing; and rental criteria with landlords.
Programs and criteria need to seriously be established in this most sensitive circumstance for the Felon and their family etc.
Why is this important?
Criteria for rental as it pertains to income guidelines, credit, felony or misdemeanor issues, employment.
Criteria for existing tenants as it pertains to the same as above.
