Leave Senior Citzens Some Dignity
Do not change the formula for Social Security increases as meager as they are now we cannot afford moving to the chained CPI.
Why is this important?
Both my husband and I are dependent upon Social Security. The cost of living has dramatically gone up for us during the past five years. Now our drug coverage has dropped two of the most expense drugs that my husband needs to keep living, this adds another $475 per month to our budget. If Social Security goes to the chained CPI we'll be eating dog or cat food if we can afford it. Stop the nonsense and leave the senior population some dignity in our remaining years. Stop bowing down to the Republicans and that kook Paul Ryan.
