Let's Take Action: Lafayette Towers Flooding

There has been a flooding issue in this apartment complex for years. There is no action being taken to prevent the overflow from the owners, which are causing multiple residents to have total losses on their vehicles. There are a total of 3 parking lots, but only one of them are functional due to the flooding. With one functional parking lot, it causes overcrowding in our back parking lot. There are no signs in the parking lot stating the rise of the tide & no warning on the lease stating that there is a risk of total loss of your vehicle. Although there is overcrowding of vehicles in the back parking lot, we are still told as residents that we have to park in a actual parking spot or there is a risk of being towed. Overall, this issue needs to be addressed and fixed or we will continue to have this issue, and under these conditions, these apartments will not be a comfortably livable.
