The Equal Rights Amendment guarantees equality to women and has been dormant for 36 years! Two generations have been born since then and it's time to finally get it done!
Why is this important?
As a Baby Boomer who advocated for the ERA in the 70s, it is my wish that the ERA becomes the law of the land before I die! Only three more states need to ratify it...and that seems like an achievable goal. The Women's Movement is strong enough to make the ERA rise like a phoenix from the ashes. Our time is now!
