Why is this important?
Licensed Barbers and Approved Barber Schools are coming under Attack with HB4790. Senator Iris Martinez will approve the bill to go before the Senate to be voted on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. If passed, this bill will undermine the legitimacy of the barber profession and will endanger the profession as it now stands for it's schools and licensed barbers. The Barber Pole Legacy is being threatened.
