Lift the cap on the US refugee quota to immediately resettle Syrians fleeing war!

We are Americans willing and able to welcome Syrians seeking safe refuge from the devastating war in their country into our homes and communities. The United States has admitted only 1,500 Syrian refugees in four years. This is unacceptable considering FOUR MILLION Syrians have been forced to flee their homes. We demand the U.S. government open its borders so we can open our homes.

Why is this important?

We are families, young couples, empty-nesters, students, and many more with rooms to spare in our homes for people forced to flee violence in Syria. We want to open our homes and pantries and closets, and provide transportation and monetary, emotional, and social support because we, as humans, stand united by our common respect for human dignity.
