Please attend the 5:00 pm Monday, July 16 WyCoKCK Commission meeting to support a new set aside from EACH DISTRICT’S existing grind and overlay funds. The proposed set aside would allow each WyCo commissioner to use up to 20% of their annual grind and overlay budget for emergency alley repair, additional sidewalk/curb replacement incentives, OR to continue with grind and overlay. Benefits from this change include flexibility to improve infrastructure based on each district’s needs, greater citizen input on how their tax dollars are spent, and improved accountability. This proposal will be up for public discussion at this meeting and we need a show of as many supporters as possible to help it pass. We encourage neighborhood groups from across Wyandotte County to join us.
