Why is this important?
In October, 2018, I went to the emergency room and found out my court ordered health insurance was terminated by my former spouse in July. I didn't have the money to take him to court and didn't have the money to get the necessary treatment. I also started to receive letters from doctors that I had seen in the previous months demanding pay because the insurance payout had to be returned to my former insurance company. My situation and situations similar to mine are common. We can support the stabilization of families with Medicare For All.
