Melissa Hortman day of Remembrance

On June 14th, 2025 Melissa Hortman, her husband Mark and their beloved furry friend were assassinated in their home. Melissa was a Lawyer and State Representative, but beyond that she was a wife, mother, daughter and friend. June 14th should be a day to remember Melissa and her legacy, as well as her husband and beloved pet. Please show that regardless of political parties and beliefs, no one should be killed.

Why is this important?

Melissa had a heartbeat and soul just as Charlie Kirk did. Her life was also special and precious. The same thing for her husband Mark and dog. There is so much hate and divide amongst us. America is split in half. Remind us all that we are a united nation! That being a certain political party does not mean your life matters less!
