Amend Michigan law to require any taxes charged on Gasoline (Sales & State Excise) can only be used for the purpose of Road and Bridge infrastructure rebuilding, improvements and expansion.
Currently sales taxes collected on Gasoline is not being spent on Road and Bridge Infrastructure. The state of our roads and bridges are critically deficient in safety and handling the traffic on roads designed in the 1950's.
Why is this important?
The roads of this state are extremely dangerous and often times cause significant damage to cars, cause accidents and in some cases people almost losing their lives to falling debris. There's no time left on the ticking time bomb of michigan infrastructure. Paving Blacktop over crumbling roads is simply no longer a viable plan of action.
