Mike Lawler - Schedule regular Town Hall meetings for your constituents!

We, the undersigned, request that Rep. Mike Lawler schedule regular Town Hall meetings with his 17th C.D. constituents.

Rep. Lawler was elected to represent all or portions of Rockland, Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties, but he hasn’t held - or, to our knowledge, scheduled - a single Town Hall since being elected, claiming that occasional one-on-one meetings between his staff and constituents are sufficient. They aren’t.

Town Halls — not “mobile office hours” or “press events” — are needed to allow more constituents an opportunity to hear directly from Rep. Lawler on a wide range of issues.

And, because of the geographic size of the 17th C.D., multiple Town Halls are required to provide access to constituents in all areas of the district.

We want the opportunity, as constituents, to see, hear, and question our Representative on issues important to us. We deserve no less.
