I've recently found out that in Florida the state has been warehousing disabled children in hospital-like institutions for years in violation of federal law.
Of course they have been trying to hide this and keep it from going public.
We are demanding that the Florida Department of Children & Families (DCF myflfamilies.com) immediately end this policy and take steps to house disabled children in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
They deserve the dignity and care guaranteed to them by law.
