Modified Grading Policy
After further research into the issues at hand, we see it fit that amendments be made to our current grading policies. These policies shall be implemented in the case of pandemics, national or state security, martial law, and/or when [insert college name] students are on emergency breaks, lasting for over three academic weeks.
Why is this important?
Students have been going through a series of issues since the extended Spring Break; lack of internet, unstable household, no laptop, losing family and friends due to COVID-19, etc. Although several resources have been offered, they have not been enough to mitigate the hardships of this hasty transition. As advocates for the students of Universities across the state of Ohio, we feel that more steps need to be taken in order for us all to successfully complete this semester.
