The population of the Hudson Valley has increased significantly since Covid. Many of these residents rely on air travel to major cities for work-related opportunities. We need direct flight options to major cities, specifically Miami, LA and San Francisco. It is my hope that by starting this petition, more flights to major cities will be added in efforts to create more opportunities at a greater convenience to those who live in the Hudson Valley and are unable to drive three hours to the city for a flight.
Why is this important?
Most of the people who live upstate rely on freelance jobs. Traveling is a huge inconvenience, especially to those with children. We need better access to major cities and Albany Airport is the closest option.
