National Animal Abuse Data Base

Creating and funding of a National Animal Abuse Data Base that can help institutions, such as animal shelters and pet stores, and private citizens from giving or selling animals to known animal abusers.

Why is this important?

There has been many studies that show a correlation between animal abuse and human abuse. Many people that start off abusing animals will, at times, increase their violence towards other people. A national data base of animal abusers will help prevent animal shelters, pet stores, and private citizens from selling, giving, or adopting animals to known animal abusers. A defenseless animal should not be the victim of a horrible abuse and death.
