NATIONAL DAY OF STRIKE NEEDED ASAP – WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12, 2025

Greetings to a Fellow American who can help.

We are just people who share a deep fear of what is happening to our country right now.  Like millions of our fellow citizens, we are struggling to find a way to make our voices heard.  We need something bold, something those in power cannot simply shrug off as a handful of agitators.  Something that allows all disaffected people of integrity, moral fiber, and conscience to be part of, to be able to personally act, and to truly have an impact.  This is why we are reaching out to this large number of people and organizations that have strong voices that can help spread the word and assist in generating:

We believe the situation is dire.  The democrats in Washington appear to be biding their time to wait for the 2026 midterms to reverse the balance of power.  We believe this is incredibly naïve.  Trump/Musk are clearly not following ANY norms, so more significant and immediate action is required.  It took Hitler and his cronies just 53 days to dismantle the democracy of Germany in 1933.  The speed with which this administration is moving to dismantle our democracy appears to be of similar pace.  THIS IS NOT HYPERBOLE.

National strikes have historically proven to be an effective means of expressing the will of the people, so we are proposing exactly that.  We believe that a very significant percentage of the population is desperately seeking a way to make their anger and frustration heard, and are searching for an avenue that they can participate in.  Something meaningful. Something dramatic.  Something impactful.  We can only think of one viable outlet:

We are recommending people simply do not leave their homes that day.  Period.  Whether you call in sick, have a ‘family emergency’, or simply stay silent is an individual choice for everyone.  We do NOT recommend protests, marches, or other assemblies.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY TARGETS.  If you own a business, be closed for the day.  Just stay home.

Keep your children home, schools may not be operational anyway.  Take your dog for a walk, play with your kids, have a peaceful day of rest.  Just stay home.

If this were to reach the millions of Americans desperately seeking a means of keeping their democracy intact, and they can simply participate, it would provide overwhelming evidence of the opposition to the direction we are heading.  PLEASE help us spread the word!  Make no mistake, the future of freedom and democracy depend upon it.
