Net Neutrality is truly the backbone of our new information age. No internet provider should ever have the power to choke, throttle, block or give preference to internet searches based on who can pay more or their own personal agenda since the FREE FLOW of information is essential to our economics, education, democracy and more.
Why is this important?
I am a small business owner who employees several people & I rely heavily on people finding me easily on the internet for my home building, remodeling & repair business. It should not be up to mega internet service providers, the FCC or anyone else to decide who can find my fully licensed, bonded, insured & incorporated business. It should also not be their choice what information I or anyone else can view as we seek to educate and enlighten ourselves while we strive to improve our lives AS WE SEE FIT!
