NO CHANGE TO SOCIAL SECURITY

For those not in a position to collect a pension upon retirement, our social security payments are critical to our ability to stay in our homes, pay for medical care, real estate taxes, etc. Social Security is something we've contributed to for over 40 years and we expect a fair return on that investment. No one would expect that any of the above costs would be lower over time; why, then, should our SS payments be?

Why is this important?

Please say no to President Obama's proposal to cut Social Security by lowering the cost-of-living adjustment for current and future retirees.
