Montana citizens have spent their working lives paying our Social Security taxes. Now that it's time to receive those benefits, the big time financiers and their right wing cohorts in government, who brought us the biggest economic disaster in US history by gambling with OUR money, want to cut our basic support system, the benefits we've already earned? No way, no how, not now, not ever.
Why is this important?
The great majority of citizens in Montana are low wage earners. They deserve and need to have their Social Security Benefits secure and undiminished, permanently! There is no justification for asking them to sacrifice their meager benefits to pay for the reckless losses of the banksters and their corrupt politicians that put our economy at risk and sank it.
