No more automatic pay increase for Congress

Congress presently receives pay increases automatically. We the undersigned do not believe this is deserved or should continued. We propose that all pay raises for congress should be an election issue decided by the people ( their employers ); decided at the time of presidential elections. The vote would be a yes or no choice. If the decision is for ( yes ), the pay increase must be equal to one quarter ( 25% ), and no greater than one quarter ( 25% ), of the concurrent rate increase in social security cost of living adjustment.
