I am asking you to support Bills S2461 and H7912, which places $3.4 million for the Housing Rental Subsidy Program and an increase of $439,000 for homeless prevention and assistance in the State's fiscal year 2015 budget.
Why is this important?
On Tuesday April 8, 2014, in Warwick, a childhood friend of mine was found dead in a ditch; he was homeless. It saddens me no end to realize that Joey Graham had laid there in that ditch while dying and he had no help or resources to aide him. Such an injustice for all humanity.
