When you live in a cold house because you can't afford fuel because the price is too high, can't afford many groceries either for the same reason. Medical, dental and pharmacy bills finish the rest of the small check for many Americans. Because these aren't calculated in the COLA raises we don't get an increase in Social Security to cover our expenses of daily living. How could you even think about cutting funds for the poorest people in America? Absolutely no cuts should even be considered!
