Given the state of the U.S. economy it is imperative that all troops being withdrawn from Iraq and elsewhere be returned to U.S. soil and not to Australia. The infusion of thousands of military personnel and the bases that are needed to support them would be a valuable asset to any city, state and our country overall.
Why is this important?
Please petition your congressional representatives and the president to demand that U.S. troops being removed from Iraq be returned home to bases here in the U.S. where it will benefit Americans. Wasting huge sums of money on a new base in Australia is an idiotic move.
