This Administration has decided to replace the duly elected President Maduro with a US sycophant who will do our bidding, dividing up the oil( Venezuela sits on the largest oil deposits in the world) and other natural resources(gold for one) with countries complicit in this criminal assault on a sovereign nation, a democratic country and its people. Where is the outrage, in the face of this act of imperialism? Who are we as a country? Do we oppose this, or docilely accept it? We are not the people Donald Trump represents to the world. We are so much better than that and we must not allow ourselves to be beaten down, to be used...we must not be silent. Please sign this petition and stand against imperialism.
Why is this important?
As an American watching this country's acts of imperialism for so many decades, I am outraged at what I'm now seeing in Venezuela, a blatant usurpation of a sovereign country, a democratic people, a duly elected President. who we would attempt to replace with a US sycophant. We have no right to override the will of the Venezuelan people to satisfy our own greed and desire for riches and power. It is time to speak out! We can not be silent participants. We must be better than this!
