No War with Iran: Keep the U.S. out of forever wars!

Americans overwhelmingly oppose the U.S. entering into war with Iran. The U.S. government should work to deescalate the crisis, prevent a full blown war, and not escalate tensions that put our national security at risk. 

Instead of prioritizing our safety, he is bending the knee to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and jeopardizing American troops for yet another war that none of us want. Congress needs to act quickly, and use their full legislative authority to rein in Trump. Our Congressional lawmakers have a responsibility to their constituents and our country to hold Trump accountable and end his war mongering. 

Now, Donald Trump asked Congress for $67 BILLION to cover the costs of his illegal war on Iran. A vote to fund this war in any way–whether it’s one dime, one dollar or $67 billion–is a vote to perpetuate war and violence.

It’s past time Congress put taxpayer dollars toward healthcare, food assistance, education, housing, and other programs that keep people safe and secure, instead of funding and facilitating more war.

Both Republicans and Democrats must decide if they’ll stand with their constituents and the majority of Americans who oppose this war, or if they’ll support Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s violence, regardless of the human and economic cost.
