Non-custodial parents are automatically granted joint legal custody but not joint physical. If they do not get an attorney, and waste money they do not have, they will not know this much. Why are they not given joint custody on both legal and physical from the beginning? If unfit it will be shown as such.
Why is this important?
Why is it that non-custodial parents always have to fight for joint physical custody and only get every other weekend visitation? The court system makes it hard financially and emotionally for non-custodial parents to be just that PARENTS.
