Nonviolent mediation, not war, with Iran

War with Iran is not inevitable. We need skilled mediators working to clarify, acknowledge and make heard the needs of all sides involved in this potential conflict, and to facilitate a solution that equally serves all.

We call on U.S. elected officials to immediately employ experts in Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication as mediators in renewed diplomacy efforts with Iran and Israel.

Why is this important?

Watching the deterioration of diplomacy with Iran, and hearing threats of war, I've felt deeply concerned that our country and its allies are not making use of proven conflict-resolution techniques such as Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication. All peoples, especially in Iran and Israel, stand to lose enormously if full-scale war breaks out, and it is our duty to do all we can to foster a peaceful resolution.
