This bill will is about bullying in the work place and how prevalent it is. No adult should have to put up with bullying because if you say something back to a boss or supervisor they know it could effect your employment so they treat you the way they want and that is not a good atmosphere to work in.
Why is this important?
I myself get's treated badly sometimes because the supervisor either has personal problems or sometimes they just look for a whippy boy. You can do the best of work and still get treated wrongly. This causes stress illness to the employees who sometimes need time off or longer and can affect job performances to lower. Good atmosphere good performance bad atmosphere attitude toward the job may suffer. I want this bill to pass so employees do not have to put up with nonsense like this.
