On Behalf of the American People – Humanity over Immigration

Signers: exercise your belief that migrant children are humans first and deserve to be treated as you would want your children to be treated: decent, clean lodging; nutritious, adequate food; baths with soap; toothpaste and toothbrushes; clean clothes; family integrity; and compassionate supervision. Take one or more of the following actions to demonstrate your humanity: (1) ask your clergy person when he or she will speak out about maltreatment of children; (2) sit down with your family (children included) and explain what is happening, why this is wrong, ask what you should do about it, and then take action; (3) as a family, write letters or call your congressional representatives expressing your concern; (4) learn who (corporations and congress members) are benefiting from child detention camps and pledge to boycott and vote against them.
