One Client At A Time California Hair Salon/BarberShop
Amidst the current Shelter In Place please consider allowing a person with a current California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology license to perform a hair service, with one client, per stylist/barber at a time as an essential business starting with Phase 1 of reopening businesses.
All necessary precautions and sanitation protocols mandated by the state of California and our local Board of Environmental Health will be strictly followed.
Our industry needs to be recognized & deemed as an essential business so we can better serve our community.

Why is this important?
Licensed Barbers and Cosmetologists are facing major financial hardships due to most of us being independent contractors/booth renters. We do not have the safety net of unemployment or health benefits that other work industries provide.
Providing the opportunity for us to work will not only help alleviate the financial strain that many of us are facing, but give us the ability to lift the spirits of our community of clients who are desperately awaiting our return.
